Hi everyone! I’m so excited to start blogging!
My name is Shruti Mutalik and I am a bibliophile, writer and singer living in New York city.
I have been ambivalent about starting a blog for years. I have always loved sharing thoughts and ideas with people. I love to write and make sense of the world by writing. It has , however, taken me a while to zero in on what my blog would be about.
In recent months, I started a video blog called “Heaven is a Giant Library” and I will soon be launching a podcast called “Conversations with Friends about Books and Ideas”. Along the same lines, this blog will also be called “Heaven is a Giant Library” . It will explore literature, reading, the process of writing. It will also explore ideas – ideas about the world, life, human nature, the human condition – that are discussed in both nonfiction and fiction.
